On Last month we hosted a signing party with Audrey Kawasaki. Our goal was to change the structure of openings or signing parties we (or at least I) had attended in the past, Show up, get a drink, Look at the art, perhaps make a purchase, talk to some stranger about the art for a few minutes and then bored…leave. We set out to have an intimate, interactive, entertaining event that would be memorable. I hope we accomplished that.
Wow, thanks for sharing my blog post! There were quite a few other things that I didn’t even mention in the post (scavenger hunt, free-style rapping, little games, complimentary food and drinks), so I feel kind of bad for not being mega-detailed with my post; I’m sorry! But still, thank you SO MUCH! for putting on such a memorable and fun event :)

Did you go to the big Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! launch party last night at GameStop? Jonathan Bilski and Things to Do in L.A. have some photos and details about the soiree.
Thanks, Jonathan.
